Reliable Buff Company is the first U.S. buffing wheel manufacturer to build an Iris Machine with a 42" opening capable of producing bias style airway buffs in diameters up to 40". This newly built machine can assemble cotton and poly cotton airways, bias sisals and Open Face (ODCBS) wheels.

Each wheel is designed and produced according to the parameters of the parts being buffed. Because of the low spindle speeds on the robots, bias style airway buffs are stitched in order to hold the plies together, thus making the face of the buffs firm. This is not required on the sisal wheels because they are always sewn. In addition, we offer these robotic buffing wheels in untreated, mill treated, and dip treated finishes.

Meter Airway Buffs These airway buffs are assembled on our "giant" Iris machine using mill treated cotton and poly cotton fabrics. For robotic buffing cells, we recommend 1" concentric sewing on each wheel to hold the buffing wheel face together. This increases the stiffness of the wheels and adds to the cutting capability. Meter Sisal Buffs These buffs are constructed with bias sisal material and assembled on a "giant" Iris machine. Each ply of sisal is inter leafed with treated cotton fabric to reinforce and strengthen the overall wheel. In addition, we sew 1/2" concentric rows of stitching and dip treat each wheel per each customer's requirements. Order Now! 704-289-4300
