Because each buff is used individually on a tapered spindle, we must precisely balance and face the wheels so the craftsman can create the best shrine. One dozen buffs are packaged in clear bags.

Muslin Buffs
Reliable Buff manufactures a complete line of muslin buffs for the jewelry and dental industry. Standard sizes from 2" through 8". Made with shellac centers or reinforced leather centers.
Material available is 60 X 60 (Coarse Muslin) and 80 X 80 (Finex Muslin)

Available is a full line of mill treated buffs including the industry standard Yellow, the "wax based treated" Orange, the "platinum" Blue, and the "gun-metal" Gray.

Razor Edge (Knife Edge) Buffs
Manufactured with 1/4" concentric sewing and shellac leather centers, Reliable Buff has defined the standard for the highest quality razor edge buff. Each wheel is made with the highest quality fabric (86 X 80) and is available in Yellow, Blue, Orange, or untreated (UBM).

Lead Center Buffs
These muslin buffs are made with a "grommet style" lead center poured into the arbor hole. The lead increases the centrifugal force and momentum of the buff when rotating on the buffing machine.
Available in sizes 3" through 8" in thicknesses of 28,36,54, and 63 ply

Midget Buffs
Normally used on mandrels or small tapered spindles, these buffs are made of the same high quality material as our larger products. The standard thickness is 16 ply.
These wheels are available in 80 X 80, 86 X 80 Yellow (or Orange), and BBC material in sizes 7/8", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2". Note: All Midget Buffs have a 1/16" shellac center.

Chamois Buffs
Used in color buffing of precious metals such as gold, silver, pewter, and platinum, Chamois Buffs are made from high quality chamois leather skins. Each buff is cut, turned, and sewn with shellac leather centers to produce a balanced and trued wheel.
